Now Accepting Applications for Tampa Bay Symphony is now accepting applications for next season's Young Artist Competition. Instrumentalists, Vocalists and Pianists may audition for a change to perform with the Orchestra and win a cash prize. The final audition has concluded and a winner was selected. Four competition finalists performed before a panel of judges at the Music Gallery in Largo. This year, the competition was again close and after an afternoon of auditions, Judges Dr. Jack Heller, Halina Bobrow, Kurt Klotz and Carol Skey awarded Robert Fleitz (Piano) winner of this year's competition. Fleitz performed the first movement of Grieg's Piano Concerto in A Minor at the Orchestra's Spring Concert series in April 2009, and received a $1000 cash prize.
